Author, Mental Health Educator and Public Speaker

ROBIN is no stranger to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and conversations involving Mental Health. Her love and passion for her hometown Durham Region continue to be the centre of her community and advocacy work across communities and nations.

What initially began as a teenager has developed into her adult years.

As a Mental Health Educator and Public Speaker, Robin has consulted for the Ontario Ministry of Child and Youth Services and has spoken words of hope to thousands of individuals, majority youth, across the GTA. As a Child and Youth Worker by profession, her focus is within the Education Sector counselling and supporting students with various Mental Health challenges.

Her viewpoints have been shared across Canadian media and news outlet platforms and she was appointed to the National Youth Advisory Council for CAMH where she assisted with co-ordinating campaigns and resources for the province of Ontario. In addition to being a previous consultant for the Ministry of Children and Youth Services in Ontario which resulted in the creation of the province wide resource "Stepping Stone."

In the year of 2015, conscious clothing line "Wear Your Label" in partnership with Joe Fresh featured Robin in their nationwide campaign. Afterwards, she was featured in Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences 5in5 campaign and became a contributor for the hospital's social media home "Mind Vine." Her connection with the hospital continued and in 2016 she developed and lead a 6-week Christian faith-based peer support group called Lifestyle Devotions.

Robin Simpson has presented at the Canadian Educators Conference in Toronto, Canada to hundreds of educators from across the nation.

​Her presence within local communities is equal within the church. Robin has served passionately within ministries for young adults. Primarily focusing on encouraging, supporting and providing knowledge on the purpose and no limits to prayer in addition to frequently hosting/organizing services and events.

​Today, Robin continues to pursue after the heart of God in everything she does including her work within the Mental Health sector.

Her passion for youth, inclusion and education remain relentless.
